Andrew was joined by close friends and family for his ceremony that took place at the Congregation for Reform Judaism followed by a luncheon. At night friends and family celebrated at the Winter Park Racquet Club for his Club AJ party. White, black and white feather plumes (reminiscent of the feathers in a showgirl's headpiece) served as centerpieces. Balloons flanked the doorway and dice were used as name place holders. Guests dropped their cards in a box decorated to resemble a slot machine. Such a fun and creative idea! In keeping with the theme, Andrew's cake was decorated to resemble a poker chip.
The Blackjack table drew a huge crowd and guests enjoyed gambling with one another. I want to highlight was the live performance by a magician, Bob Hogue. He performed all sorts of tricks to astonish and befuddle the guests including putting Andrew into a box and cutting him into pieces! (Andrew was not harmed during this trick)
